The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is a partner in the international SHIELD project, which aims to enhance digital security in the educational environment and protect pupils and students from online risks such as cyberbullying, personal data breaches and disinformation.

The project seeks to support teachers and educational institutions through specialised training programmes, educational resources and practical tools for building a secure and resilient digital learning environment.

SHIELD is implemented with partners from four European countries – North Macedonia, Latvia, Bulgaria and Kosovo. The project is coordinated by "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje.

On the Bulgarian side, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University contributes expertise in educational psychology and the development of learning content, and also leads the activities related to monitoring, evaluation and feedback collection.

The SHIELD project is funded under the Erasmus+ programme and is being implemented during the period 2024–2026.

As part of the project, a partners’ working meeting is scheduled to take place on 27–28 January 2026 in Pristina, Republic of Kosovo, hosted by UBT – Higher Education Institution.
