Being part of the Alumni Club is an affiliation. Graduating doesn't mean that your time at the university is over. Participation in the life of the faculty as an alumni is crucial for building and maintaining a strong community at the university. "Being a good Alumni starts by making sure you are focused on the needs of others, being willing to share the lessons learned from your experience, travels, strategies for tackling challenges and finding opportunities for growth". This message was sent by Prof. Alexandra White (Luther University, USA) on June 7 in Hall 401 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, where a meeting of the Association of Graduates of FEBA at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” was held.

The day you receive your university degree and mark the culmination of your studies, you become an integral part of the university community. People who meet, the relationships they build, and the knowledge they learn from the alumni network are incredibly useful tools for broadening personal and professional horizons. As a person who has followed the path of higher education, alumni members already know how valuable the education is while at the same time they posses important life and professional experience. An essential part of being part of the alumni community is finding ways to invest back at the university. This activity is not limited to participation in donations.

Alumni gives you the opportunity to stay connected to the activities of the faculty, but also allows you to help new and potential students. Alumni members can be useful with mentoring, to be guest speakers, to help build projects and services. Whether it's building a new brand or starting a start-up, building business relationships or participating in other organizations, a network of educators is a great source for building those long-term relationships and contacts with like-minded people for a long time after you finish your training.
