On April 13, 2024, in the course "Budget Accounting", led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iliana Ankova for the Master's Program "Customs and Tax Control", a guest lecture was delivered by Mrs. Maria Shopova - Chief Accountant of the National Customs Agency.

The students were introduced to the specifics of the accounting organization of the Customs Agency's activities. Mrs. Shopova provided examples of the accounting treatment of specific reporting items.

The format and content of the cash report and the financial balance sheet were discussed, with particular attention given to the more specific balance sheet items.
