Kaloyan Staykov, Chief Economist at the Institute for Energy Management, delivered a guest lecture on “Price Regulation in Bulgaria” to the students of the master's program “Energy Markets and Services” on November 28.

In his lecture, Kaloyan Staykov presented the elements of the legislative framework in energy, the role of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation, the methodology and the price regulation process, as well as regulatory aspects of the mechanisms adopted in the EU to compensate for high energy prices.
