The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” has been recognized in three categories at the prestigious Leaders of Influence Awards 2025 — an initiative that honors companies, organizations, and individuals who have made a positive impact on society through innovation, sustainability, and leadership.
The Faculty received recognition for its contribution in three key areas, highlighting its commitment to education, social impact, and sustainable development. The Foundation FEBA project “EthiCitizen” was awarded the title “Rising Star of Influence”, positioning the Faculty as a dynamic and influential participant in public life with the potential to inspire other organizations.
The innovative art installation G80 was recognized in the “Leading by Education” category, demonstrating how creative thinking and education can be combined to provide a new perspective on academic and community engagement. Additionally, the Faculty’s efforts in sustainability and environmental leadership through the “EthiCitizen” project were highly praised in the “Green Influencer” category.
These distinctions highlight how academic institutions can act as drivers of change — not only through teaching and research, but also through real-world projects that leave a lasting impact on society. The Leaders of Influence Awards, organized by b2b Media, are held for the third consecutive year and celebrate outstanding examples of positive influence, recognizing professionals and businesses that have established themselves as opinion leaders in various fields, as well as organizations that champion important causes and inspire others.
With the acknowledgments received this year, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration further strengthens its position as an example of educational and social engagement that inspires both the academic community and the wider public.
