On 14 December, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” hosted the award ceremony for the students who participated in the Sofia Mathematics Tournament. In separate ceremonies, gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as certificates, were presented to the best-performing participants from Grades 2 to 7.

At the beginning of the day, the medals were presented by Prof. DSc Emil Kolev from the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Parvan Parvanov, Vice-Rector of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

Assoc. Prof. Parvanov and Assoc. Prof. Georgiev welcomed the students and their parents, wishing them continued success, encouraging them not to lose the spark in their eyes and to keep their love for mathematics, which will be valuable to them in every sphere of society.
