On February 27 and 28, the conference "Differential Equations and Mathematical Models in Economics" was held, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordan Yordanov

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordan Yordanov (1948 – 2021) is one of the founders of the restored back in 1990 Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and creator of the "Mathematics" and "Quantitative Methods" curricula at the Faculty. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University together with the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. At the event different reports by scientists working in Bulgarian and foreign universities and research institutes were presented, as well as memories of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordanov were shared.
