Aim of the programme: To train highly qualified professionals who are proficient in modern methods and tools for strategic management and organizational development. The strategic management programme focuses on organizational strategy development and strategic management. The student should be able to develop organizational strategy, which includes a diagnosis of the organization's macro environment, its micro environment, industry analyses, analysis of the state of the organization, development of a strategy for organizational development, business strategies, resource and functional strategies, international strategies, etc. The programme aims to create an understanding of the need of a strong theoretical background and to give learners a basis for continuous self-improvement in practice.
Graduates of the programme receive a Master in Strategic Management qualification.

Possible career opportunities for graduates: in organizations of different industries and sizes, involved in strategic management and/or planning. Successful graduates can take up managerial and administrative positions in business organizations, middle and high levels of government administration, third sector organizations; to work as consultants; continue their studies and research in doctoral studies; to be lecturers in higher education; to work in research and development units.
The duration of study is 1 year (2 semesters), which includes:
- Basic compulsory training - academic disciplines building the professional specialization of a Master in Strategic Management.
- Basic equivalence training - those accepted who fall into the category of non-specialists, are required to undergo additional, two specific courses offered as compulsory electives.
- Specialization training - students choose one of the specializations: Strategic Development, Human Capital Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Note: Within a given academic year, training starts only in these disciplines which have recruited sufficient candidates in accordance with the Regulations of the University. The remaining students who have chosen a specialization that cannot be started, are redirected to second and third candidates’ wish.
The possibility of studying additional subjects in elective form: the workload and credits for these courses are not counted for the completion of the curriculum. The training culminates in the defense of a master's thesis, the state sessions being in November and in March respectively (next calendar year).
