To apply for the program, candidates must submit a document confirming the completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree and undergo an oral interview with a committee. The admission score is calculated based on the average grade from the diploma, the grade from the state exam (thesis defense), and the interview assessment, which is given as "yes" or "no." A "yes" is equivalent to a grade of 6.00, while a "no" is equivalent to a grade of 2.00, resulting in the candidate being excluded from the ranking. The maximum possible admission score for the program is 18.

Students from Burgas and the region can also obtain information at the Burgas branch of Sofia University.

Candidates for admission to the program for the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year can submit their documents through the platform https://feba.kmk.uni-sofia.bg/ during one of the following three stages:

  • First stage: from July 1 to July 21, 2024;
  • Second stage: from July 25 to September 15, 2024;
  • Third stage: from September 21 to September 30, 2024.

 

On July 5, 2024, at 6:30 PM, an informational meeting will be held by the program's administration with the candidates on the Teams platform at the following link: http://bit.ly/3JgcfFl. Participation is only possible after the regular submission of the required application documents.

The interviews for admission to the master's program (рarticipation is available only after the regular submission of application documents) will be conducted online at 6:30 PM on the Teams platform at the following link: http://bit.ly/3JgcfFl, as per the following schedule:

  • First stage: July 24, 2024 (Wednesday) at 6:30 PM on MS Teams
  • Second stage: September 18, 2024 (Wednesday) at 6:30 PM on MS Teams
  • Third stage: October 2, 2024 (Wednesday) at 6:30 PM on MS Teams

 

About the Program "Digital Marketing"

Given the specific nature of the program, the training is conducted in a distance learning format – all classes are held online, with synchronous sessions taking place in a virtual classroom (i.e., remotely) or in weekend modules. The materials for asynchronous sessions are available to students through the Moodle/E-learn electronic system.

 

Program Objective:

The Digital Marketing program aims to train highly qualified professionals capable of successfully developing businesses in a rapidly changing technological environment. The program focuses on using technology, new media, and the internet to communicate valuable propositions from a company or organization to customers and society as a whole. The curriculum covers all key elements of marketing, including strategy, brand management, ethics, efficiency, research, segmentation, and activation. Additionally, there is an emphasis on applying the acquired knowledge and skills through technology in the digital world. Upon completion of the program, students should be able to develop comprehensive management and marketing strategies integrated into the online environment. The program aims to create an understanding of the need for serious theoretical preparation and provide learners with a foundation for continuous self-improvement in practice. The Master's program in Digital Marketing seeks to impart new knowledge about digital marketing tools and social media. The program is based on existing marketing practices and integrates digital tools and social media applications so that students can find their place in the digital era boom. Graduates of the program will be prepared to meet the needs of any marketing position and use their advanced knowledge for both their company and personal development.

Graduates of the program can become leaders of various organizations of different sizes and specializations, digital marketing managers, specialists in marketing departments dealing with strategic management, planning, human resources management, operational management, and more. Successful graduates can hold managerial and administrative positions in business organizations, middle and senior levels of public administration, third-sector organizations; work as consultants; continue their education and research work in doctoral programs; become lecturers in different levels of higher education; work in research and development units.

 

Duration of Study:

The duration of the program is 1 year, which includes:

  • Basic Mandatory Training: Courses that build the professional specialization of a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis on digital marketing.
  • Basic Bridging Training: Admitted students who are considered non-specialists must undergo additional bridging training to level up their knowledge – specific courses offered as mandatory electives.
  • Specialized Training: Compulsory elective and freely elective training in various possible directions.

 

The program concludes with a state exam, with state exam sessions held in July and September.
