Programme purpose: The programme addresses the strategic resource of the organisation - its people, its staff, the formation and development of the organisation as a viable social organism in a multicultural environment.
After the completion of the programme, the student should have the knowledge and skills to perform a variety of functions (selection, evaluation, stimulation and development) of human resources specialist in companies from different sectors of the economy, incl. specialized companies providing tools and services for recruitment, assessment and human capital development. The programme offers a multicultural environment for learning and leadership development capabilities. Guest lecturers include professors from Germany, France and Japan, as well as and managers from leading companies from Bulgaria and the countries of the students.
The training is in the evenings on weekdays and/or Saturdays and Sundays.
Qualification: Graduates of the programme receive the qualification of Management of Human Resources Development

Possible career opportunities for graduates: Human resources directors, heads of departments of the same name, specialists in such units in Bulgarian, foreign and multinational business and non-profit organizations; can be realized in the state administration, and also as consultants and research staff. A possible career path is to continue with PhD studies and to scientific work.
The duration of studies is 1.5 year (3 semesters) for specialists and 2 years (4 semesters) for non-specialists and for students with 180 or 210 credits.
The training includes:
- Basic training - for non-specialists only - the first year of their training - management, economic, financial, accounting and legal disciplines, in order to introduce the studied issues and create a basis for mastering the special training.
In the second year of their training, non-specialists follow the curriculum which includes:
- Basic compulsory training - with emphasis on Human Resource Management and Development.
- Professional training - free elective courses, through which the final profile of the specialist is formed.
The possibility of studying additional disciplines in elective form is given to students. The workload and credits for these courses are not counted towards the fulfilment of the curriculum.
The training is completed in the defense of a master's thesis, the state sessions being in March and July respectively (next calendar year)
