CURRICULUM

 

The Master's program aims to provide students with fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of modern methods of synthesis, physical methods for the characterization and applications of inorganic substances and materials for modern high technologies, including in the field of microelectronics, electronics, optics, laser techniques, special ceramics, the preparation of sensors and others.

The curriculum and the wide variety of elective courses allow (if desired) to obtain greater specialization in the field of: solid state chemistry, fine inorganic synthesis, production of nanomaterials, methods of preparation and analysis of high purity substances.

Practical classes include largely elements of research, along with classes of students that want to participate in the implementation of projects, as well as production work to obtain high purity substances and some materials on their basis.

Graduate students can carry out research, technological implementation and production activities in particular: fundamental and applied research in the field of materials science, fine inorganic synthesis, nanomaterials and methods for characterization of substances and materials; technological and development work on the application of the results of basic research, development and introduction of new and improvement of existing technologies, introduction of foreign experience; production activity in manufacturing and all areas of the application of radio- and isotope labeled compounds and nuclear energy.

Masters graduates can work in small and medium-sized enterprises of fine inorganic synthesis, testing laboratories, trade with chemical products and equipment for physicochemical studies, research institutes and laboratories in universities and others.

Master's program can be pursued by professionals with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, computational chemistry, ecochemistry, nuclear chemistry, chemical engineering and advanced materials, chemical and metallurgical technologies, chemistry and physics, chemistry, informatics, biology and chemistry.

Students complete their education with defense of a thesis.
