On September 17, the Utilities magazine and the Center for Educational Services (CES) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” conducted a joint online training “Natural gas trade and current changes in the European regulatory framework”. 12 representatives of the energy sector took part in the training. The initiative also presented the master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at FEBA.

Lecturers in the training were:

• Boyana Achovski, Secretary General of Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE);

• Veselin Todorov, Natural Gas Trader, Tibiel EOOD;

• Marin Zwetkow, Subject Manager Interoperability & Data Exchange, ENTSOG.

Ms. Boyana Achovski shared the latest information regarding the policies for restructuring the gas infrastructure, which meets the EU's ambitions for the green deal.

Mr. Zwetkow's lecture was in English and covered both the data exchange code and the expected changes in the balancing and capacity reservation codes.

At the end of the training, Mr. Todorov presented in real time the trading platforms with the possibility for real energy management to a real site.
