The team of the master's program "Customs and Tax Control" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”, together with EY Bulgaria in the period 15-19 July 2020 successfully and with great interest held online “Summer Academy for Taxes and Duties”. The training was realized remotely by FEBA’s Center for Educational Services.

Lecturers were: Prof. Jacques Mahlerb, Simont Braun (Brussels); chief assistant Dr. Tsvetan Madanski (FEBA); chief assistant Dr. Savina Mihailova-Goleminova (FEBA); Irena Stavreva-Radusheva (State Inspector in the Territorial Directorate "North", Varna); Ivan Andonov (NRA, SIDDO Directorate); Judge Iskra Alexandrova (Supreme Administrative Court); Judge Madeleine Petrova (Supreme Administrative Court); Milen Raykov (partner in EY Bulgaria).

Over 60 participants took an active part in the academy, among which were representatives of students from the country and abroad, practicing lawyers, the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, international and Bulgarian companies, tax and customs administration and others.

Presentations were prepared and recordings of some of the lectures were made, which will be used for the purposes of the educational process at the Faculty in the new academic year 2020-2021.

The team plans to hold a Spring Academy in April / May 2021.
