In fulfillment of NEK's strategy for partnership with higher education institutions, on September 29, the company's Еxecutive Director Martin Georgiev, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev signed a cooperation agreement.

NEK and FEBA have a long-standing successful partnership on topics in the field of the development of Bulgarian energetics, and the signing of the agreement opens up new perspectives for joint activities related to the challenges of the transformation of the energy sector.

The partners are going to cooperate and promote the utility sector through the training of highly qualified specialists in the management and monitoring of public enterprises, sustainable and responsible management, smart technologies, trade and investment in RES, energy data management, investment in hybrid energy parks and facilities, financial and regulatory technologies by increasing theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills, etc.

"It is an honor for us to work together and give new energy to our long-standing cooperation with current topics and joint initiatives", said Mr. Martin Georgiev. "This agreement reinforces the commitment of both parties to the exchange of expertise on key aspects in the Bulgarian energy sector and is going to be an important tool for enriching the knowledge of students and experts in support of young talents".

Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev emphasized the active educational activity of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, incl. internationally, and highlighted some opportunities for joint initiatives - participation of NEK employees as trainees and guest lecturers in the bachelor's and the master's programs, postgraduate qualifications, joining the Career Center, work on scientific and applied projects, etc.
