The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is ready to welcome its students in the renovated and modernly equipped classrooms. As part of the activities included in the SCHOLARNET research capacity building project, funded by the European Science Networks National Science Program of the Ministry of Education and Science, the iconic Hall 400 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration was renovated and equipped in early February. It also has the largest capacity for trainers in the entire Campus "East" of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Completely renovated and providing conditions for digital and/or hybrid learning, it preserves one of the first personal and corporate donations to the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, made by Mr. Deichmann in the late 90s of the 20th century. The hall offers professional video conferencing equipment, including 3 TV screens, which allows for full visibility from all 120 seats in the hall. Each of the thousands of students who graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has vivid memories of her and the experience there.

"It is important for the learning environment for our students to be ergonomic, modern and conducive to creative thinking and active learning. At the same time, we are committed to preserving and maintaining the legacy bequeathed to us by our predecessors. With the renovation of Hall 400 and especially the typical wooden banks in it, we have shown that it is possible to successfully combine traditions and innovations, including in terms of learning environment", said the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Project Manager of the SCHOLARNET project Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, Ph.D.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration permanently occupies leading positions in the Rating System of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria in the fields of Economics and Business Administration. Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration can study in 3 bachelor's degrees: "Economics", "Business Administration" and "Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications" and in over 30 master's programs in economics and management. The subjects included in the curriculum are taught in four languages ​​(Bulgarian, English, German and French) by leading lecturers and distinguished guest lecturers from foreign universities and business organizations.
