On August 11, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) hosted the “My Professional Horizon” workshop, bringing together outstanding young individuals recognized through JCI Bulgaria’s “Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Bulgaria” (TOYP) program and recipients of individual awards in the annual PMI Bulgaria Chapter Awards. The partnership is a natural continuation of the long-standing contribution of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Vice-Dean for “Sustainability, Empowerment and Engagement” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, who serves annually as a member of the TOYP program’s evaluation committee.

The event took place on the eve of International Youth Day, celebrated on August 12, whose theme this year is “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.” The theme highlights the diversity of young people’s life and professional paths, as well as their shared aspirations for growth and fulfillment. This was also the focus of the workshop – to create a space where the award recipients could reflect on their professional journeys, explore their potential and next steps, and connect with one another.

The workshop was part of the special development opportunities offered to this year’s award recipients. It was delivered by Smart Minds, with facilitator Tsvetelina Teneva – founder of Smart Minds and a certified facilitator of the Serious Play® method with LEGO®.

Through the interactive methodology, participants had the opportunity to reflect on their professional journeys to date, explore their potential, identify the factors influencing their development, and formulate concrete next steps.
