Business and Technology University, located in the country of Georgia, is pleased to invite the Academic Staff from various universities across the globe to participate in a blended mode 2nd International Teaching Week.

Higher education institutions worldwide are currently facing unprecedented challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing war in Ukraine. The two biggest threats to global peace and human wellbeing have strongly impacted the higher education institutional landscape: distracted international collaboration, terminated physical academic mobility and exchange, created unpredictable health and security crises putting thousands of students and educators in a vulnerable situation.

Universities need to understand the implications of these complex and unfortunate conditions and take urgent actions in response to the growing threats.

International Teaching Week serves as an exchange and dialogue platform for students, educators and engaged stakeholders to discuss state-of-the-art and implications. The event will cover discussion sessions and lectures not only for the BTU students and faculty, but also any interested participants from Georgia and abroad.

International Teaching Week at BTU offers lectures and discussion rounds on the following areas (and not limited to):

Blended International Teaching Week will take place between the 26-29 April, 2022.

The official working language of the International Teaching Week is English.

Participation in the Teaching Week is free of charge. The duration for each delivered lecture is 1 hour.

Please, submit a short registration form and the summary of the course you think to be innovative and resilient in these challenging times.

The deadline of registration is April 7th, 2022.

Certificate of Participation will be issued for the lecturers & Certificate of attendance will be issued for attendees (students and staff from the participant universities).
