The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration continues its partnership with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the third year in a row. In 2020, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" through FEBA became the first Bulgarian academic partner of the EIB for a series of guest lectures by managers at the institution.

On March 29, Hristo Stoyanov, a representative of the European Investment Fund in Bulgaria, gave a guest lecture to the students of FEBA. Mr. Stoyanov presented "The Growth of Venture Capital Ecosystem in Bulgaria". During the lecture, topics related to the leading position of the European Investment Fund (EIF) in European private and venture capital, EIF in Bulgaria, the startup ecosystem in Bulgaria, and others were discussed. The Vice Dean of the Faculty Assoc. Prof.Boryana Bogdanova opened the guest lecture.

The series of lectures continues with a guest lecture by Alexandrina Boyanova, senior expert at the EIB, on the topic "EIB, the climate bank of the EU" - April 7, 1 p.m., room 200.
