The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" participated in a summer academy on corporate law, jointly organized by the Faculty of Law and the "ELSA Bulgaria" association. The association is a branch of the European Law Student Association (ELSA) and is partnering with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration for the first time.

The coordinator of the ESG Lab at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Olya Peneva, presented the topic "Corporate responsibility related to human rights", one of the main ESG topics. The lecture was focused on the intertwining of corporate law with human rights and environmental law, corporate social responsibility and the challenges facing businesses when considering social aspects in their activities.

The conference was attended by 28 people from different European countries - Poland, Estonia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria. "The topic of the impact of business on human rights is becoming more and more relevant and I am glad that the junior lawyers showed interest and actively participated in the discussions. Thank you for the invitation to "ELSA Bulgaria", it was a pleasure for me", commented Olya Peneva, human rights specialist.
