On November 29, in the Auditorium of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", "EY Bulgaria" and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration are going to organize a conference on "Two big changes in the European tax system".

The event is related to the implementation of an activity to popularize the results of the scientific activity in connection with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova in a symposium: Saïd Business School, Oxford University Center for Business Taxation Annual Academic Symposium, 2023 under activity p. 3.3. "International cooperation in the strategic areas of higher education" under project BG-RRP-2.004-0008 “SUMMIT - Sofia University Marking Momentum for Innovation and Technological Transfer”.

The event is going to be opened by the Dean of FEBA – Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev. The leading speaker is going to be Prof. John Vella - a professor from Oxford University (Assistant Director, Center for Business Taxation, Saïd Business School, Oxford University). The other speakers are going to be Milen Raykov and Viktor Mitev - partners in "EY Bulgaria", as well as Anatoly Apostolov, Chief Expert in the "Direct Taxes" Department, Ministry of Finance.

The moderator is going to be Assoc. Prof. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova, Head of the master's program "Economics and Management of Public Resources", FEBA.

During the conference, we are going to look at two topics in tax legislation, namely the major changes in Pillar II and CBAM.
