Assist. Prof. Desislava Kalcheva, PhD took part in the 37th International Conference on Public Finance, on the topic "Fiscal Tools in Struggling Disasters", organized by Bursa Uludağ University. The conference was held on October 12-15, 2023 in Antalya, Turkey. The purpose of the conference was to bring together experts in public finance. The experts presented reports in the fields of economics, financial law, theoretical statements of public finance, and budget planning.

More than 50 reports were presented at the event. Dr. Desislava Kalcheva took part in the "Budget and Budget Planning" panel and presented a report on "Budget planning at the local level in a period of crisis - the case of Bulgaria".
