The activities under the project "Carbon Literacy - a way to improve the life quality in Sofia" of the Causes Foundation in partnership with Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Sofia Inspectorate. They are focused on employees of municipal and district administrations, teachers and civil society organizations and the general public.

The project will promote innovative European practices regarding the carbon footprint of individual citizens and raise citizens' awareness. The project will create a training program on "carbon literacy" and will develop a manual for the implementation of good practice containing analysis, recommendations and concrete steps for its implementation.

The expected results are:

• Developed guide to implementing good practice in carbon literacy, including analysis, recommendations and concrete steps;
• Training program and training materials on "carbon literacy", including a minimum of 3 training modules;
• Training videos;
• Conducting training for inspectors from the Sofia Inspectorate;
• Information video.

The project is implemented with the financial support of Sofia Municipality under the Europe 2021 Program.
