Department "Economics" at New Bulgarian University and Department "Economics" at Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" are organizing a round table on the topic "Ecological and Social Transformation of the Economy in the Context of Industry 5.0". The event is going to be held on October 31, 2023.

The round table aims to bring together teachers and researchers from Bulgaria and France, interested in the discussion about the diversity of the transition to a new model of socio-ecological development. Participants in the round table can present their research, exchange information, and participate in the discussion of current issues.

The two main panels of the round table are:

• Impacts of the transition to a green economy on economic development;
• Supporting social entrepreneurship: a challenge to promote sustainable development.

The round table is part of the implementation of the following international projects:

• „L’accompagnement à l’entrepreneuriat social : un enjeu pour favoriser le développement pérenne en Bulgarie et en France“;
• „L’innovation environnementale comme facteur de croissance économique durable dans les pays de l‘UE“.

The forum is also open to representatives from other countries. The round table is going to be held in hybrid mode. Participants can attend the sessions and present their reports on-site or do the same through an online platform.
