On the 5th of June 2013 a Memorandum of understanding was signed with the Faculty of Economics and Management Science of Leipzig University, Germany for a mutual recognition of study results.

The agreement allow students from the German program at the Faculty of Economics (Sofia University) to receive a German bachelor degree after an Erasmus year, spent in Leipzig.
