| In 2024, the Department of Analytical Chemistry at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” celebrated 100 years since its founding as the first, in Europe, independent department of this science. The anniversary is celebrated with two events in October 2024: 1) October 3, 2024 - Official Ceremony in AULA in Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and 2) October 4, 2024 - Scientific Session with International Participation in Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University. Colleagues and friends from the Bulgarian and international chemical community honored the events. A special issue of the journal Bulgarian Chemical Communications, with publications of researchers from the Department of Analytical Chemistry, is also dedicated of the anniversary year. |
