BA graduates in Cultural Studies have a lot of opportunities to find professional realization in all spheres of culture. BA graduates are qualified experts prepared to work in national institutions forming and implementing the country’s cultural policy; they can also be employed as experts in regional institutions of culture, they can find jobs as animators and managers in the market of culture goods as well as in other cultural institutions such as the media, theaters, publishing houses and book distribution companies, art galleries, book trade, culture tourism, NGOs, art schools (students can take optional courses in pedagogy and get a certificate), etc.
The discipline of Cultural Studies does not imply learning a particular profession. The general and practical education and training aims at preparing specialists up to the requirement of the social an economic situation of the XXI century. These specialists need to be able to realize their potential within the framework of the “new economic system” with its spreading globalization and imperative demand for reconsideration of national positions, and its new information-based culture and society.
