On December 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the first Sustainable Fashion Bazaar was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The event was carried out on the idea and through the organization of the students of the master’s program “Responsible and Sustainable Governance”. During the Bazaar, 176 items were donated, of which 64 found their new home. The total value of the donations is BGN 788, which will be collected by the end of the week on account.

The funds collected will be used to create a water corner with a fountain on the second floor of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

“Access to clean drinking water is a basic human right. The new water facility will guarantee this right, and at the same time will contribute to a drastic reduction in the consumption of plastic bottles on the territory of the Faculty”, the organizers of the event from the master’s program “Responsible and Sustainable Governance” are convinced.

The aim of the Sustainable Fashion Bazaar was to draw students' attention to the circular model of conscious consumption by giving everyone the opportunity to donate a favorite garment and discover a new find at the bazaar to purchase.

The initiative is part of the “S-Lifestyle” sustainable lifestyle campaign, which is coordinated by ESG Lab at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
