On June 29, the Center for the Promotion of Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between China and the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CHIA2CEEC) and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of economy, management, business and agriculture.

During the official ceremony for the signing of the Agreement, Assoc. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and Dr. Momchil Stanishev, Director of the National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities, discussed future joint initiatives, agreeing to cooperate on conducting specialized trainings, conferences, seminars for University students, organization of study practices, internships, etc. One of the topics of cooperation is also related to the development of the new master's program "Innovations and digital transformation of agribusiness", which will be offered for the first time from this fall in FEBA.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is one of the partners of the National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities in the organization of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "10 years Initiative 16+1. Cooperation, exchange and connectivity between countries".

The two parties implement joint actions on the preparation and presentation of a range of topics that are the subject of research by scientists and researchers from the member countries of the 16+1 Initiative, related to economic development, investment plans, good practices in agriculture and academic exchange. The cooperation agreement will also be the basis for promoting youth entrepreneurship in the field of agriculture in Bulgaria and the region.
