On April 4^th, students majoring in Business Administration had the pleasure to meet online Ralitsa Ralcheva, Service Design Manager at Sopharma Trading. Ralitsa Ralcheva is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The guest lecture was held within the discipline “Organizational and management models for quality and organizational excellence”.

The audience was acquainted with the software technology Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and its application for optimizing work processes in the company. RPA is a key component in the digitalization process – its implementation saves resources; errors in work are reduced; productivity increases; the activity of the employees is intensified. The operation of the technology was illustrated with a series of specific cases. The managerial aspects of the implementation of the technology were an independent object of attention.

Given the experience of Ralitsa Ralcheva and her involvement in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the idea of ​​an internal project of the Faculty for optimization of work processes is discussed, based on which to “play” the economic methodology and methodology for innovation through the implementation of RPA.
