The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) presented for the second time the annual awards in the field of corporate social responsibility for 2022. The awards honored the good practices of socially responsible management of companies from the private and public sectors, public administration structures and scientific circles, which favor the development of employees, the environment and society.

“The application of staff care models and corporate social responsibility is not an unnecessary expense for the employer, but an investment with a huge return and added value for the quality of life of people and for the social, economic and ecological sustainable development of society”, emphasized in his welcome among the participants the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Lazar Lazarov.

“Practices to improve workforce skills and qualifications, working conditions and quality of life increase business competitiveness. Corporate social responsibility and the treatment of the worker are among the key factors in attracting labor on the one hand and preventing labor drain on the other”, he concluded.

The awards in the “Environment” category were presented by Deputy Minister Nadia Klisurska. “Corporate social responsibility in Bulgaria is a reality and it is proven by the long-term sustainability of the business with a focus on society, human resources and ecology”, she emphasized. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” ranked third in the category, making Sofia University the only university and academic organization honored at this year's event.
