20.01.2026

On January 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the second edition of the EthiCitizen Summit will take place at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA). During the annual meeting, the team behind the digital platform for developing habits for sustainable behavior and consumption will present a review of its work in 2025 and outline its key priorities and directions for development in 2026. The program includes three main discussion panels.

EthiCitizen Summit 2025
  • EthiCitizen Business Panel

This panel gives the floor to businesses to discuss topics related to the challenges on the path to sustainability. The focus will also be on the EthiCitizen platform, which through its gamified approach inspires and motivates employees to change their habits and live more sustainably. Representatives of companies that ran EthiCitizen campaigns in 2025 will take part in the discussion and share their experience working with the platform.

  • EthiCitizen Education Panel

The discussion will highlight the role of schools and universities in building sustainable values. The conversation with leaders in the field of education will focus on the power of non-formal education and unconventional methods for engaging school-aged youth.

  • EthiCitizen Youth Panel

The generation that has no time to wait—young people aged 16 to 24 who are already taking action and changing the environment around them—will be given the floor. A discussion will be organized with the winners of the interschool competition and the campaign conducted among bachelor’s and master’s students at FEBA of Sofia University.

Two special conversations will also take place—with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of FEBA at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and with Mariana Ivanova, Deputy Mayor of the Slatina District responsible for Education, Culture, E-Government, and Sports.

As part of the event, partners with a key contribution to the development of EthiCitizen over the past year will also be recognized.

The event is open to the public with free access upon prior registration HERE.
