Within the framework of the SINTACT project, funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)programme, an opportunity is offered for participation in a Staff Exchange among the partner universities and research organisations involved in the project.

The exchange programme aims to foster academic mobility and strengthen collaboration between research teams, promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and contribute to the development of sustainable international partnerships.

Partner Institutions

Academia de Studii Economice din București (ASE) – Bucharest University of Economic Studies

  • 1 position for an Established Researcher
  • 2 positions for Postdoctoral Researchers
  • 1 position for a Doctoral Researcher

University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University – Hanoi

  • 3 positions for Postdoctoral Researchers
  • 1 position for a Doctoral Researcher

 

General Information

Duration of mobility: 1 month (1 PM = 1 person-month)

Eligible participants: academic staff, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates.

Financial support: Participants will receive a grant of EUR 2,710 for a one-month mobility period. The grant is intended to cover costs related to travel, accommodation, and subsistence.

 

Note: During the mobility period at the host institution, participants will retain their employment salary at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and the mobility period will not be considered leave.

 

Thematic Areas of Research

The mobility activities should contribute to the research objectives of the project and may address topics such as:

  • Analysis of gaps in the relationship between green transition risks, particularly regarding energy poverty and unemployment, including the assessment of such risks in the host country;
  • Examination of transition-related risks and gaps in knowledge, skills, and competences among vulnerable social groups, including young people, older individuals, and single mothers;
  • Investigation of the dynamics of intergenerational differences in the context of the green transition;
  • Comparative analysis of the intergenerational effects of unemployment and energy poverty in Romania and Bulgaria;
  • Exchange of experience and best practices related to intergenerational models within the green transition;
  • Gap analysis of knowledge and skills related to addressing the risks associated with the green transition.

 

Selection Criteria

Required Documents

Applicants should submit the following documents:

  • A short motivation letter;
  • Confirmation from the applicant’s direct supervisor;
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV) including up-to-date information on research activities and publications;
  • A completed application form ( download from here ) indicating the preferred task, destination, and proposed mobility period.

Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • The relevance of the applicant’s research interests and expertise to the thematic areas of the project;
  • The applicant’s scientific and professional experience related to sustainable transition and socio-economic analysis;
  • The motivation for participation and the expected contribution to the project’s objectives.
