On May 11, guest lecturers in the master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration were representatives of ABB Bulgaria: Angel Dimitrov, Business Development Expert - Charging Infrastructure, and Teodora Petrova-Vasileva, Product and Marketing Specialist, Building Solutions. They presented a lecture in 2 parts: "Electric mobility, charging stations, energy management and energy storage technologies" and "Green infrastructure and business models for smart grid systems and buildings". The lecture was held within the discipline "Management of energy and utility companies".

ABB

Angel Dimitrov graduated from the master's program "Economics and Management in Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities" (now "Energy Markets and Services") at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. He has extensive experience in various leading international companies in the energy sector. His main professional interests are in the areas of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. He has been part of the ABB team since 2013, starting his career in the company as a sales engineer-industry. Since 2016 he has been dealing with the development of the charging infrastructure and the introduction of ABB's products for charging electric cars on the market in Bulgaria. Since 2019 he is an expert Business Development of Charging Infrastructure and UPS. Responsible for the development of ABB's business for electric mobility and direct cooperation with installers, investors, network operators and others. He participated in the installation of the first fast charging station in Bulgaria.

Eng. Teodora Petrova-Vasileva is a product and marketing specialist - building solutions at ABB Bulgaria. She has over 8 years of experience in building automation systems, and her career path passes through leading companies in the field such as Siemens and ABB. As a design engineer at Siemens at the Center for Innovation in Building Technology, she has participated in the construction of building automation projects in many European countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Norway and others. She started working at ABB 2 years ago, and her main focus is building automation systems, particularly smart home systems. Teodora graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, majoring in Automation, Information and Control Engineering and holds a master's degree in Automation of Electric Drives.
