Assia, Violeta, Nelina, Svetlin and Hana were chosen from the Dean’s office of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” to participate in the initiative “Manager for one day”. They took the position of Dean learning his responsibilities as a leader and also other parts of his job concerning administration, library and student organizations.

The young managers were welcomed by Dean Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev and Vice-dean Assoc. Prof. Boryana Bogdanova, Vice-dean Assoc. Prof. Sonya Georgieva and Vice-dean Assoc. Prof. PhD Marcellin Yovogan. The former Dean (2015-2019) of FEBA Assoc. Prof. Teodor Sedlarski also took part at the meeting.

Five candidates also attended lectures of Statistics and Public finances. They met the representatives of the Business club at the creative space called “the Garage” and learned the activities of professors from “ Bachelor” , “Academic” and “ International” Departments.

By the end of the day the participants in the initiative had case studies with Assoc. Prof. Boryana Bogdanova concerning the work of FEBA and in particular the activities of their Career Center and their Alumni Club.

The Dean’s office of FEBA thanked the participants for their initiative, their positive ideas, as well as Junior Achievement for organizing the event “Manager for one day”.
