On April 30, Lidiya Lazarova-Ateva, chief expert in the Training department, Human Resources Management directorate in the Central Administration of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and trainer in accounting, corporate taxation, and state aid gave a guest lecture to the students of the master's program "Customs and Tax Control" headed by Assoc. Prof. Tsvetan Madanski. Mrs. Ateva is a state aid methodologist, she was the Head of the State aid monitoring and coordination methodology department at the Ministry of Finance in Bulgaria until 2018.

The lecture topic was "State aid - legislative framework (European and national). Types of aid. State aid test". Within the framework of the lecture, practical cases were examined to determine the presence and type of state aid. At the end of the lecture, a productive discussion took place between the guest speaker and the students regarding the types of state aid, regulations, and the state aid test.
