Dear students, faculty members, partners, and friends of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”,

The official opening ceremony of the new academic year for the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will take place on October 1, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Aula of the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

The celebrations will continue at 4:30 p.m. at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration building. First-year students will have the opportunity to receive their student books and meet their lecturers, as follows:

4:30 p.m., Room 420 – International Trade and Investment, English-taught program
4:30 p.m., Room 400 – Economics and Finance (English- and French-taught programs)
4:30 p.m., Room 300 – Business Administration (English-, French-, and German-taught programs)
4:30 p.m., Room 200 – Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications, English-taught program
5:15 p.m., Room 523 – Meeting for students in Economics and Finance (French-taught program) and Business Administration (French-taught program) with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonya Georgieva, Head of the French-taught Economics and Management Program
5:15 p.m., Room 524 – Meeting for students in Business Administration (German-taught program) with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bozhidar Nedev, Coordinator of the German-taught Program

Starting at 6:00 p.m., a cocktail reception for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will be held in front of the Faculty building.

In connection with the opening of the new academic year and the planned activities, October 1, 2026, will be a non-instructional day for all Bachelor's and Master's degree students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Classes will begin on October 2, 2026 (Friday).
