The master's program “Energy Markets and Services”, in partnership with the sustainable development department ENGIE Impact of the consulting company ENGIE, organizes a half-day practical workshop on 15.01.2024 (Monday) for its students on “Solutions and strategy for supplying electricity produced from renewable energy”. Ch. Assist. Prof. Mariya Trifonova will welcome the guest lecturer Dr. Stanislav Yordanov in the course “Renewable energy sources and biofuels” led by her.

Stanislav is part of ENGIE Impact team in the EMEA region. He has broad technical, management and consulting experience in the power sector and management of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. His area of expertise and vast theoretical knowledge, among power utility business, includes smart building and grid technologies, demand response, elaboration of multi-site decarbonization and renewable energy sourcing actionable roadmaps and optimization of energy-related costs experience. He is a power engineer with a further PhD degree in smart metering, demand response and energy markets.
