In 2023, the Vocational School for Computer Programming and Innovation (VSCPI) in the city of Burgas received the status of an associated school at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". With this, VSCPI became the first school outside Sofia and the third in the country associated with Sofia University. The joint activities between the high school and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) are led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Bogdanova, Director of the master’s program "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance". One of the goals of the cooperation is to achieve school-university-business synergy, and the first steps in this direction are already a fact.

After a series of tripartite meetings between FEBA, VSCPI- Burgas and Schwarz IT Bulgaria, it was specified that the technological leader will provide mentors for the practical training of the students of the "Artificial Intelligence Programming" specialty. In December 2023, the Schwarz IT Bulgaria team and Assoc. Prof. Bogdanova visited the high school. In the framework of a working meeting with Dimitrina Todorova - Director of VSCPI-Burgas, several issues of strategic importance for the development of innovative practices in the direction of ensuring high-quality education and achieving school-university-business synergy were clarified.

Pencho Dobrev - Director of the Data&AI department, together with Slav Yolov and Lyubomir Angelov, who are part of Mr. Dobrev's team, met with the students and talked about their interests in the field of artificial intelligence. Assoc. Prof. Bogdanova gave a practically oriented lecture in the area. As a result, the following joint activities were identified, among which is a study trip in March 2024, within the framework of which students of VSCPI - Burgas will receive professional career guidance from the "Career Development" sector of Sofia University and will get to know various career paths from leading professionals in the field of artificial intelligence in Schwarz IT Bulgaria.

Schwarz IT Bulgaria is the main partner of the master’s program "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski". The Vocational School for Computer Programming and Innovation in the city of Burgas is the first school in Bulgaria that teaches the "Artificial Intelligence Programming" specialty. The branch of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the city of Burgas in close cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration supports the implementation of the planned partnership initiatives.
