The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” and UBB, part of the companies of KBC Group in Bulgaria, discussed promising opportunities for upgrading the partnership between the two institutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
At a meeting held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, promising opportunities for upgrading the partnership between Sofia University and KBC Group in Bulgaria in the field of artificial intelligence were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Bogdanova, Deputy Dean of FEBA and Academic Director of the master's program "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance", Barak Chizi, General Director "Data and Analysis" for KBC Group, Tatiana Ivanova, Executive Director Marketing and Distribution - Retail Banking of UBB, Denitsa Sotirova, Business Partner Human Resources for UBB and DZI, Barry Haycock, Director of Data Analysis and Process Automation for KBC Group in Bulgaria, and Michael Marien, Chief KBC Group Data Analyzer.
During the meeting a number of educational and scientific-applied perspectives in local and international terms were discussed. Both institutions are ready to work together to establish positions for full-time doctoral students whose research is on the business problem of KBC Group in Bulgaria under the academic leadership of a team from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
