The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev presented the faculty's experience of obtaining the first international accreditation for a business school in Bulgaria during the AMBA & BGA Accreditation Forum 2023 in Belfast, UK, on 31 October. The forum was hosted by Queen’s Business School.

During the panel “New school accreditation journeys for both AMBA & BGA” Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev from FEBA and Stephen David Bach, Executive Dean, King’s Business School, shared their experience as new schools applying for AMBA/BGA accreditation for the first time.

This was the first speaking experience for FEBA’s Dean at an AMBA event. It follows the AMBA accreditation, received in May 2023, and coincided with the publication of the new edition of the Ambition Magazine, which features a short interview with Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev and an introduction about FEBA and Sofia University in the “Spotlight on Schools” Section.
