On October 17, the first event of its kind “Career Orientation Days” began at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. It was mainly aimed at newly enrolled first-year undergraduates, but interested upper-year students, including masters, also participated. The event opened with seminars on career guidance and job application. These first two modules, offered by Ms. Nadia Stoyanova and Ms. Maria Ilieva from the Sofia University Career Development Sector, introduced the participants to the issues of career planning, self-awareness, personal skills, purposefulness, employers' needs and CV preparation and for a job interview.

The event continued with specialized company presentations from leading companies in their sector, which gave attendees the opportunity to connect with experts from the field and draw on their valuable years of experience, ask questions and get advice.

The “Career Orientation Days” took place in the cozy atmosphere of room 401 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and ended on October 27 with a mini career forum with the participation of 4 companies that are members of the Bulgarian Fintech Association – Nexo, Paysafe, Paysera and Streamflow.

The official end of the “Career Orientation Days” was celebrated with a cocktail in the building of the Faculty of Economics with the assistance of the Bulgarian Fintech Association. Students, teachers and business representatives had the opportunity to chat informally and taste the various cocktails prepared on site.
