At the end of the winter semester of the academic year 2023/2024, students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" visited the logistics base of Lidl Bulgaria in Ravno Pole. The visit is part of the cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the company. It aims to complement the training with practical aspects of business.

In the discipline "Organizational Behaviour", with the teaching team of Prof. Ts. Davidkov and Assoc. Prof. I. Petkova, basic management topics are studied - goal setting, management decision-making, management of organizational conflicts, creation of effective work teams, leadership and business ethics, organizational culture, etc. As part of the training in "Organizational Behaviour", the third-year students in the Business Administration program had the opportunity to learn more about the youth programs and options for professional and career fulfillment at Lidl. According to rankings such as Employer of Choice and Graduate Survey, the company is among the most preferred employers in Bulgaria. The young managers got to know first-hand the way of working, the strategic orientations, and the work processes of the leading international company. They met with executives from various organizational units who spoke about the company and shared their experiences.

"Over coffee and a croissant" at the end of the visit, in a free creative dialogue, various topics were discussed in the context of management and opportunities for the realization of young people in leading companies in Bulgaria.
