On the eve of Students' Day, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" was awarded the Synesgy award by ICAP CRIF. The prize was officially presented to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev.

He noted the leadership position of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Sofia University in helping businesses to achieve better levels of sustainable development and thanked the Head of the university's ESG laboratory and Vice-Dean at FEBA for "Sustainability, Empowerment, and Engagement" Assoc. Prof. Marina Stefanova.

During the True Leaders ceremony, held on December 7, Bulgarian companies with a high rating for Sustainable Development - ESG were awarded for the first time, on the Synesgy platform, in the presence of more than 250 representatives from leading Bulgarian and international companies, as well as representatives of chambers of commerce and industry organizations. The awards for the commercial companies were presented by the Dean of FEBA Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev and the special award for Sofia University was presented by Nikitas Konstantellos - Chairman & CEO of ICAP CRIF.

Sustainability is a key success factor in all industries and an increasingly important and priority issue. Now more than ever, social issues, environmental protection, and good business governance are core values and assets for companies. To achieve these goals, it is essential to understand the path and degree of development of companies’ ESG criteria.
