"For the past 19 years, I have had the privilege of working with countries to arrange their communication campaigns on platforms like BBC News TV channel. Through this work, I have gained valuable insights into strategic communications—communications that truly make a difference for a country by shaping its brand and challenging stereotypes.

Country branding is a complex process that requires not only time but also creativity and dedicated effort. If this process is overlooked, the country’s brand risks being shaped by the narratives and communications of others. In my lecture, I will share success stories from other nations and explore how strategic communications have helped them build strong and attractive brands. I will also analyse opportunities for Bulgaria to create a compelling investment brand that reflects its unique strengths and potential", notes Sergey Stanovkin.
