At the 12th International Conference “e-Society, e-Learning & e-Technologies” (ICSLT 2026) in Milan, Italy, from 16–18 June 2026, scholars from Sofia University will present a paper discussing key aspects of attention in digital environments.

ICSLT 2026 brings together academic experts and researchers from around the world to exchange ideas and findings in the fields of electronic society, e-learning, and digital technologies. The event takes place in Milan, Italy, providing a platform for scientific presentations, plenary lectures, and discussions.

Among the participants are Prof. Neviana Krasteva and Dr. Aleksey Potebnya from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University, who will present their paper titled “Theoretical Analysis, Negative Externalities, and an Integrated Experimental Study in Digital Environments”.

This research examines attention as a limited resource in digital environments, the negative effects of digital platform design, and the potential of gamification to support sustained attention. The study is part of the academic program of the international conference and is supported by data from an experimental study involving a significant number of participants.

ICSLT 2026 is an established forum for presenting the latest scientific achievements in e-learning and digital technologies. Accepted papers are published in the Conference Proceedings and indexed in authoritative international scientific databases, contributing to the visibility and international recognition of the research.
