In the period May 27-28, 2023, the practical classes on "Customs and tax control" were held for the masters from the same program under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Tsvetan Madanski. The classes were participated by professors from the Department of Economics in Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) - Prof. Vanya Ivanova, Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Zlatinov, Assoc. Prof. Sonia Georgieva, Assoc. Prof. Stella Raleva and Chief Assist. Prof. Stoyan Shalamanov.

The first part of the practicum was held at the Customs Bureau - Plovdiv, where the students were introduced to various types of customs documents and was conducted training regarding the customs regimes "Release for free circulation and end use" and "Export". The students were shown how to inspect goods, transported by truck in real time, in the customs hall with the assistance of chief inspector Ivanka Kormevska, chief inspector Nesho Semkov and inspector Tony Tanchev.

With the exceptional assistance of Mr. Georgi Gospodinov, Head of Boarder checkpoint "Captain Andreevo", were held practical classes and presentation of the activities of the various border crossing services - Ministry of Interior, National Customs Agency, National Revenue Agency, Bulgarian Food Safety Agency and Ministry of Health.
The students visited the "Svilengrad" Customs Bureau, where they were introduced to the activities of customs officials by chief inspector Atanaska Chanova and chief inspector Ivanka Tsvetkova. At the "Captain Petko Voivoda" border checkpoint, chief inspector Yanko Petev presented the functions, duties and powers of different border control services at the internal border.

The practicum was carried out with the partnership between the National Customs Agency and SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" in accordance with the expressed institutional support for the development of the MP "Customs and Tax Control" in Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
