On May 23, a practical training session was held at the Sofia Airport Customs Office for third-year students in the "Economics and Finance" undergraduate program, taught in English. The training is part of the curriculum for the elective course "Fundamentals of Customs Control“, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Madanski.

The students were introduced to the functions, powers, and duties of customs officers by Mr. Alexander Penev, Head of the Customs Office.

Thanks to Chief Inspector Diana Nikolova, the students had the opportunity to observe in real-time the submission and acceptance of documents under the customs regimes "Release for Free Circulation and End Use" and "Export".
