The Center for Visual Science “Kaleidoscope”, one of the successful projects of the FEB Foundation, has been nominated for this year's QS Reimagine Education Awards 2024. "Kaleidoscope" ranks in the top 25% and has earned a spot on the shortlist, competing directly with 1,300 entries across 18 categories.
More than 800 international judges evaluated the submitted proposals for innovative projects from around the world. The QS Reimagine Education Awards is one of the most prestigious international platforms recognizing innovations in education. The public hearings and awards ceremony will take place later this year in London during the QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference 2024.
The Dome is the first scientific and informational installation in Bulgaria focused on sustainable development and the Global Goals. These performances represent an innovative model of social-emotional learning, based on visitors' experiences. Created through 3D mapping technology and directed by teams of faculty members and creative teams of 3D artists, they combine digital imagery, movement, and music.
The first two films, „The World at Risk“ and „Hope for the Future“, premiered at the Bulgarian pavilion during the International Climate Conference COP28, held in Dubai. Earlier this year, the first Days of Visual Science for Sustainable Development were held at "Kaleidoscope" attracting more than 1,200 participants. In May, during the annual "Lunar" Light Festival, "Kaleidoscope" was visited by nearly 10,000 residents and guests of the capital.
