The Dean’s office of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will select 3 students from its master’s programs for participation in the EIB Summer School. The competition is open until 10 May and the Summer School will take place between 28 June and 16 July entirely online.

FEBA has been partnering with the EIB Group since 2020 and is its only academic partner in Bulgaria. In 2020 and 2021, a number of guest-lectures were held with the participation of EIB’s and EIF’s management teams.

In order to apply for the FEBA’s list of 3 students for the EIB Summer School, please send your documents before 10 May, 2021, to email address: any@feb.uni-sofia.bg with subject line “EIB Summer School” and attach the following documents:

  • Your CV (in English);
  • A short motivation letter (1-2 pages) in English, answering the question “How the EIB Summer School Experience Would Help My Professional Realization”

The EIB Summer School offers a practical approach to problems which are, by nature, multidisciplinary. All courses of the Summer School are delivered by EIB Group staff members – the Summer School faculty - dealing with operational, financial, policy, credit, legal and technical challenges on a daily basis. During the Summer School, they share their insider’s view on the application of theoretical concepts to practical challenges and what it means to be part of the EIB Group.

The Summer School is held in English. Participants commit to attend all academic courses as well as all on-site activities (sanitary conditions permitting). Upon completion, students receive a certificate of attendance issued by the EIB Institute and are eligible to take part in all EIB Summer School Alumni Programme’s activities.

There are no attendance fees for the Summer School.
