The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University is pleased to announce its official support for International Fraud Awareness Week, organized by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

What is Fraud Awareness Week and why is it important?

Fraud Awareness Week is a global ACFE initiative that celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025. Its mission is to promote awareness, education, and a proactive approach to preventing fraud in businesses, public institutions, and society. The week matters because fraud causes substantial financial and reputational damage worldwide. By encouraging the sharing of best practices, knowledge, and real-life examples, Fraud Week empowers organizations to build stronger, more transparent, and more resilient systems.

FEBA Fraud Week 2025 Event

FEBA will host a lecture on Saturday, November 22, at 3:00 PM EET in Hall 302.

Speaker: Dimitar Toshev, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), who will present real-life use cases and practical fraud-prevention methods.
